Korean violinist Soyang Jun arrived in Belgrade, who will perform on the podium of the 52nd BEMUS with pianist Mario Herring on Saturday, November 7 at Kolarac.
She stated that the concert in Belgrade was very special for her, that she was looking forward to being on stage, especially since she was aware that this was one of the rare performances that took place at a time of crisis caused by the pandemic, when concerts were canceled across Europe.
Soyang studied at the Korea National University of Arts, The Cologne University of Music and Dance (HfMT Köln), and the Zurich University of the Arts. She says that living between Barcelona and Seoul, she is inspired by different cultures and thus has learned a lot. She is becoming increasingly popular on the international scene, and regularly collaborates with the National Orchestra of Korea, and performs with many of the world's leading orchestras and artists.
The programme of the concert at the Belgrade Music Festival – works by Beethoven and Bartók is very impressive and interesting, with the desire that the audience truly enjoys.
