Impeccable Dénes Várjon

On November 5, Dénes Várjon, one of the most important Hungarian and world pianists, presented himself to the audience of the 52nd BEMUS in Kolarac Endowment.

This sought-after soloist, who performs on the stages of prestigious concert halls, from New York's Carnegie Hall, through Vienna's Konzerthaus to London's Wigmore Hall, performed works by Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin and Bartok on the Belgrade podium.
Várjon performs as a concert soloist in the world's leading symphony orchestras and he has collaborated with famous conductors. He explained the vision of success as follows:
‘I am the type of musician who believes in slow and permanent development rather than fast and spectacular jumps. I never wanted to rush things and I have always given time to certain things. For me, success is when I feel that a long process gives results, and thus it is primarily an internal process, but if others notice and react, then you have the wind at your back.’

Dénes Várjon's concert was realized in cooperation with the STEINWAY & SONS concert season.
