The Art of Circus and People with Disabilities

The workshop Accomplices / Complicités will be organized in the cooperation with the Association Živimo zajedno (Let's Live Together), specialized for the assistance to people with dissabilities and the independent contemporary circus initiative Cirkusfera from Belgrade. The leader of workshop will be theatre director Catherine Magis, and participants will be professional circus artists as well as handicapped artists who have collaborated with Belgian production houses Espace Catastrophe and CreaHM from Brusseles. The aim are techniques of artistic work with mentally disabled people, the spirit of togetherness and the universal connection between artists, regardless from whatever their handicaps could be. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) and it is designed specifically to social workers, artists and all the persons that are involved directly or indirectly with handicapped people. The entrance to this Workshop is free!
